The CitePulse Trust Score (CTS-1.0)

CTS is an open, versioned, FICO-style measure of how ready and trustworthy a brand is for the AI era — queryable by anyone, free to validate, designed to become a citable reference standard.

The formula

CTS = round(0.4·Readiness + 0.4·Visibility + 0.2·Verification)

• Readiness (40%) — deterministic technical AI-readiness: schema.org, AI-bot access, sitemap, metadata, HTTPS, non-JS content, profile presence.
• Visibility (40%) — observed AI citation frequency across leading answer engines (Perplexity, Gemini, GPT-4o). Shown as unmeasured until a citation audit runs.
• Verification (20%) — a verified CitePulse brand record (100), an unverified record (40), or none (0).

Versioning

Every issued score pins its standard version (CTS-1.0). A change to the weights or pillars is a version bump (CTS-1.1, …) — a brand is never silently re-scored by a spec change, only by a real re-audit.
